How to Create a Username for Your Facebook Fanpage

Firstly, If you don't know what a Facebook username is, take a good look at the picture below:

As you can see above, I've circled the url in orange. The username here is last word after the url: www.facebook.com/TheIdealIdea

In one of my previous post, I wrote about how you could get a facebook username for your facebook account.
Today's post is
going to be different entirely.
I'll be showing you how to set a username for your facebook fanpage.

Read the following steps carefully:

1. Enter www.facebook.com/username into your web browser.
2. You will see the phrase 'Page Name' right in front of it, click the drop down arrow and then select the page you want to give a username.
3. After you've selected the page you want to give a username, enter your preferred name into the box provided.
4. Then, click Check Availability     
5. If your preferred name is available,  click Save.

PLEASE NOTE: Your page must have a minimum of 25 likes before it can be assigned a username. So, make sure your page has gotten up to 25 likes before you try giving it a username.
