Nokia N9 Smartphone Officially Released [gadgets]

It's no news that the Nokia N9 is the world’s first pure touch-screen smartphone.


Since its announcement, the Nokia N9 has been a
hot topic. We've all seen the previous Nokia N8 and it's features but, that not all from Nokia. This new addition to the N-series has made a big hit the phone world.

The new Nokia N9 has been designed to suite just your taste!

What's Unique About N9?

Screen
The Nokia N9 has a capacitive touchscreen that
measures 3.9 inches in size.

Resolution
Screen resolution for the N9 sits at 480 x
854 pixels

Size
It comes out slim with 116.5 (L) x 61.2 (W) x 12.1 (D) mm





Camera
It's got an 8mp camera with Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus and
dual-LED flash.


Operating System (OS)
Nokia kinda said "bye-bye" to the previous Symbian Platforms and introduced an new one called MeeGo. The Nokia N9 will run off MeeGo v1.2 Harmattan


CPU
Nokia N9 has been given a running punching
power of 1 GHz Cortex A8 CPU.

Sound
The Nokia N9 can be awarded the world’s first smartphone with Dolby Digital plus decoding and Dolby headphone post-processing technology.

Buttons
The Nokia N9 has no buttons!


Swipe
The N9 uses a swipe home view system.
These are 3 views which will help keep things simple.
They are split between:
1) The application view – this is where you have  access to all your apps.
2) The multi-tasking view – the N9 can run up to
100 apps simultaneously so you needn’t be worried about multi-tasking without experiencing any delay.
3) The events view for social networking feeds,
notifications, calls, texts or calendar events- All you need to do is swipe to change between
each one.
